Your privacy is important to MyScope. This privacy policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use our communication app with translation features.
🔹 Data collection: We may collect basic account information (name, email), chat data to improve translation accuracy, and device information for analytics. We never sell your personal data.
🔹 Translations: Messages sent through the app are processed in real‑time to provide instant translation. These messages are not stored longer than necessary.
🔹 Third parties: We use trusted services (like Play Store) for distribution. Our app may contain links to online product showcases that operate under their own privacy policies.

By using MyScope, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy.
📱 Account & devices: You can use the same MyScope account on multiple devices. The app is free to use, but some features—such as deleting your account or sending a Contact Request—require watching a rewarded ad. Contacts or groups with a diamond icon indicate that you are the owner.
🔐 Login: You can log in to the app using Google Sign-In only.
🔔 In-app alerts: In-app alerts appear at the top of the screen. They are shown once when the app starts and can be dismissed. Alerts are clickable and open related notifications. After dismissal, the alert bar functions as a shortcut to your profile and notifications. Alerts with a light bulb icon indicate that a new update is available. The app can detect available updates and restart automatically to load the latest version.
👥 Chat & blocking: You can chat with users whose profiles are visible in Search. If a user blocks another user, the blocked user cannot communicate with them or post in their groups. However, the blocked user may still send a Contact Request. To send this request, you must watch a rewarded ad and follow the instructions.
💬 Chat features: Your chats can be automatically translated into your device language. Chat message options include:
👪 Groups: All groups are public, and anyone can view group conversations. Never share sensitive information in groups. If a group owner blocks a user, that user cannot communicate in any of the owner’s groups.
👤 Profile & account: After logging in, a new contact profile is created. You can update your information at any time. When updating your profile photo, you may choose to post it to the feed. If canceled, the image will upload but will not be posted to the feed. If Searchable is enabled, your profile will appear in the contacts list. Users must be at least 18 years old. Information marked with a lock icon is private and not shared with others. You can find a non-searchable user by entering their FindMe code in the contacts search or by scanning their QR code. The other user must share their FindMe code directly. To delete your account, you must watch a rewarded ad and follow the instructions. Once deleted, all data will be permanently removed from the database. Users must read and accept the Terms and Conditions before using the app.
🔔 Notifications: You can access notifications from the user sub-tabs or the bell icon in the top alert bar. Your notification history is interactive; tap an item to open related content. Notifications must be enabled for each group to receive group chat updates. Notifications for direct chats are enabled automatically. When a new comment is added to a Feed, Ad, or Product, the owner will receive a notification. Users can like, unlike, and flag content. Attention: Content that reaches 4 flags will be automatically hidden.
📝 Feedback: You can share feedback about the app from the Help screen. Only text feedback is supported. You can view the history of your submitted reports and feedback. Developers and testers can opt in to receive developer alerts showing errors and warnings for bug reporting.
⏱️ Time logs: You can create up to three time logs to track tasks. A default time log for app usage is included automatically and cannot be deleted. You can view the history of your previous logs.
⚠️ Troubleshooting & compatibility: If the app becomes unresponsive or crashes, try closing and reopening it. A stable internet connection is required for optimal performance. The app is compatible with Android OS version 7 and above.
